Starting six years ago, the Tuesday following Thanksgiving has been celebrated as Giving Tuesday. The intention was to set aside a day that was all about celebrating the generosity of giving, harnessing the potential of social media and the generosity of people around the world to bring about real change in their communities. It provides a platform to encourage the donation of time, resources and talents to create this change.

We will be celebrating the awesomeness that is our volunteers and their generous spirits all day today with pictures and posts.
