The Fact That I Can Plant a Seed…

The fact that I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower, share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another’s, smile at someone and receive a smile in return, are to me continual spiritual exercises.   Leo Buscaglia

Today started with us all at St. Vincent dePaul. One group needed to pick up a few needed supplies for the site, while the other group stayed to help organize in the warehouse all the donated items that were unloaded on Monday. We returned to the home repair site outside of Glen Fork. Today the group replaced the front door and installed two accordion doors to help keep the air conditioning in the livingroom. A fan was fixed and an outlet was looked at that had been giving the family problems. Work also began on a soft spot near the door in the kitchen that will continue tomorrow.

Since we have a small group, as a group we decided to have an evening “Community Day” today and go to Fayetteville for dinner and hanging out. It was a really nice evening being together and we were even able to catch a beautiful sunset on the way home. A great day!
