March is Coming in with a Roar
March has historically been a very busy month for the PVs, and this year is no different. Northern Illinois University will be joining forces with the PVs for their Spring Break Service trip for the 15th year. The NIU students arrive to Wyoming County, West Viriginia on March 8th and will be greeted by the PV staff and
home repair extraordinaire, Dan Schletzbaum. We are very grateful that Dan is able to join us, not only does it help with the home repair projects, but since Jenny will not be able to be on site much of the week, it gives Jill a little extra help. The twelve students will be staying at Bailyesville Community Center and working on a couple of home repair projects out that way. Each day they will also be send students to help out with the Head Start in Bailyesville as well as assisting at the St. Vincent DePaul warehouse, and at the Itmann Food Bank. We will be posting during the week so you can follow along on all of the adventures.
On March 22nd, the PV Steering Committee will be meeting for their annual planning session in New Jersey. This small group of PVs help assist the staff in the direction of the program. This meeting we will be updating the group where we are at programmatically as well as financially and look to the future. We are open to any input from volunteers for this meeting, so let us know if you have a question or concern.
In the evening of March 22nd, we will be having a pizza potluck for PVs (that is a lot of “Ps”!) also in New Jersey. All PVs are welcome to join us for what will sure to be a fun evening of catching up and looking back.

New PV Website
The new PV Website is now officially launched! We are very excited with the site, as we are able to fold the blog right into the front page, as well as include a lot of volunteer reflections, quotes and pictures which we feel really capture the heart of the PVs. Please go explore and share!

Website Under Construction
The pvprogram.org website will be down for a couple of days while we prepare to launch our brand new site. We are very excited about our new site as it will integrate the PV Blog and website into one entity, so you can get all your PV information in one place!
Once we are up and live we will let you all know.

Dates for Spring PV Seattle Week Set
The dates for this year will be Sunday, April 27th through Saturday, May 3rd. Due to space constraints, we do once again have to limit this opportunity to 10 volunteers, so it will be on a first come first serve basis.
Please let us know if you are interested and/or if you have any questions.
